Wedding Progress

Today is my first official dress fitting. Too bad I feel so bloated. Luckily my new Victoria's Secret Bustier that really holds it all in came this week. I can't wait to see everything together. I'll post pics when I return.

Tomorrow is my first official hair trial. I plan to try out my wedding day makeup to see how my face and hair will look with my tiara and veil. Once again, will post pics of the results.

Sunday, one of my dear friends is having a book party for the release of her very first novel. I'm so proud of her.

Somewhere in the midst of all this, we've got to assemble our invitations. I went to the post office this morning and bought all the postage we'll need. I plan to have them in the mail on Monday. Our first guest could conceivably have them in hand by Tuesday, February 24. Right on schedule.

I'm so excited. I can't wait to start getting responses back.

I'm Dragging

I was feeling pretty energetic this morning. But, now I'm really dragging. Must have been that doughnut that I ate for breakfast.

I'm working, but getting things done at a VERY slow pace. How will I make it through this entire day?

I went to sleep around 10:30, so it's not that I stayed up too late. Oh well, guess I'd better get more coffee.

Back to Work/ Sold Marvel

Well.. I finally went back to my REAL job today. And it felt real good to NOT be working on proposal.

On another note, I finally sold my Marvel stock today. It was up big time, so I couldn't resist. So I no longer own part of the company, but I will still read the comic books and watch the movies.

Proposal Work

What's on my mind lately? Proposal.. Proposal.. Proposal..

And not the rewarding kind like when I asked Robyn to Marry me.

But a big one for my company. Never really worked on a Proposal Team before. I thought that by working on this, I could learn a lot. Well... I suppose I did and the biggest thing I learned is that I'll NEVER do one again.

It is so hectic. Everyone is unorganized. There are private agendas, finger pointing, bickering, bantering, and debates. And the worst of all is the constant change of direction. One day we're doing this.. the next day that... It all depends on what the NEXT person's opinion is. All I ask is that before you give me direction, think about it. And if you do change your mind, give me a better reason than so and so says we need to do this, Especially when so and so told me just the day before we need to do something else.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!
