I heard Ruben on the radio today! I wasn't paying much attention and the sound was down low... so my first thought was that Luther Vandross has a new song out (even though he's hospitalized). Then I realized it was Ruben.
I didn't care for the Flying Without Wings song on the show very much, but it sounded great on the radio. I can't imagine what a thrill it must be for him to hear himself come on the radio.

Last night's American Idol episode really left me stumped. I thought it would be more obvious right now which two would make the finals. It's pretty clear that Ruben is a lock, but it's a dead heat between Clay and Kimberly. I change my mind from moment to moment on which one will make it. I didn't vote, so I don't know where the fans are leaning.
If previous calls count for anyone, then I must point out the Clay has never been in the bottom 2 or 3 to leave the show. Maybe the fans really favor him as an underdog. On the otherhand, Kimberly has a really polished style and may be more marketable then Clay. It's just too difficult to predict. I may have to tune into tonight's episode ten minutes before it's over so that I don't have to sit through their games of suspense!
