I just finished watching the season finale of the Amazing Race 4 and I can't tell you how thrilled I am that Reichen & Chip, the gay married couple, won the grand prize of one million dollars.
Rumor has it that since the taping of the show, they have split up. I haven't seen an official confirmation of this, but now that the race is over and they start doing interviews, it may be confirmed one way or the other.
I'm really hoping they're still together because their win of the race will bring a lot of attention to the hot topic of gay marriages.
So it's time for another installment of The Amazing Race to begin tonight. 12 Teams of 2 people, each with a pre-existing relationship, will set out on THE AMAZING RACE around the world to compete for one million dollars.
Who will win it this time? ...
Will it be the clowns and best friends, Jon and Al? The NFL wifes Monica & Sheree? The couple that's been dating for 12 years, but claim to be virgins, Millie and Chuck? Or the Air Traffic Controllers, Steve and Dave?
I'll wait to meet these folks on tonight's premiere to make any predicts. Just PLEASE no more FLO's. I hated that woman last year and she WON just by letting Zack carry her and put up with her.
This is one of the few Reality TV shows that I actually enjoy, along with Survivor (which ofter annoys) and Big Brother (which I might not like the next time I see it). The Amazing Race is much more of a competition requiring the competitor's to work as a team and be focused. And unlike the other shows, alliances don't really pay off in this thing.
