My Birthday

Well, today is my birthday.. Woo Hoo! Cough! Cough!

Did I mention that I feel sick as a dog? Oh well... All is not lost.. Robyn and I already celeberated my birthday in grand fashion. We went jetsetting (actually, we took the train) to New York this past weekend.

There we visited Madame Tussad's wax museum. Wow! Those things are creepy real looking. And we saw a show: "Movin' Out' which is based on the music of Billy Joel.

Thank you, Honey, for the wonderful surprise.

Scary

This is really scary when you think about how closely this seems to describe what is going on within the Busy/Cheney administration.

RIP, Superman

Christopher Reeve, the star of the Superman movies whose near-fatal horse riding accident nine years ago turned him into a worldwide advocate for spinal cord research, died of heart failure on Sunday.

This is truly sad news. Others will come and go, but in my mind, Christopher Reeve will always be the true Superman (and Clark Kent). I'd always held out hope that he would overcome his injuries. He was showing progress and always showed such great optimism in making a full recovery.

We will miss you Superman.
